DESCRIPTION OF PLACE: ALICÚN

I've choosen Alicún because I've been there every summer with my familiy since I was born.

Alicun's a village in the west of Almeria. The residents are nice, open-minded and very religious.

The atmosphere's calm. In summer it's very hot. In the winter is really cold.

The hottest days my familiy and I have swum in the swimming pool. My familiy have a plot where they build a swimming pool and orchard.

It's famous festivity is “The party of cross”. In it the residents climb a mountain with the figure of a saint. They cook a paella for all the village. I have only been there once.

An other is “ the pig slaughter”. They kill a pig. Later on they make food. I don't like being there. Because I don't like watching how they kill the pig.

Yaiza: Me too! I think it's their best song.
Olga: Did you watch True Blood last night?
Yaiza: No, I didn't. I was tired, so I went to sleep early.
